Terms of Service
Last updated 27 October 2026
These terms apply when you use Instanics. Please read them, especially the sections on cancellation and on our liability. If you use Instanics, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
1. Who we are
Instanics is run by a sole trader based in the UK ("we", "us"). You can contact us at instanicsdev@gmail.com.
2. What Instanics does
You describe a business idea. Instanics then uses AI to produce a venture brief: brand name ideas, domain suggestions, colours and a logo, a landing page preview, a competitor snapshot and a launch plan. Paid packages can also include a prompt that lets you build the website or app on Lovable, which is a separate service.
Please keep in mind that:
- Briefs are generated by AI. They can contain mistakes, out-of-date information or ideas that don't suit your situation. Check anything important before you rely on it.
- Nothing in a brief is legal, financial, tax or trademark advice. Before you spend serious money or register a name, get advice from a qualified professional.
- Domain availability is checked at the moment we show it. A domain can be registered by someone else at any time, so we can't promise it will still be available when you try to buy it.
- Competitor information comes from public web sources and may be incomplete or out of date.
- The landing page preview is an illustration. It is not a finished website.
3. Your account
You can try Instanics without an account. To save briefs or buy a package, you'll need an account. You must be 18 or over to create one. Keep your login details safe. You're responsible for what happens on your account, unless it happens because of something we did wrong.
4. Paid packages
Some parts of a brief are free. Others unlock when you buy a package. Before you pay, the checkout page shows what each package includes and its price, including any tax. Unless the checkout page says otherwise, a package is a one-off payment that unlocks one venture brief. Upgrades from one package to another are charged at the difference shown at checkout.
Payments are handled by Stripe, which acts as the reseller (merchant of record) for your purchase. That means Stripe takes the payment, handles any sales tax or VAT, and issues your receipt, while we provide the service described in these terms. We never see or store your full card details. If we offer a subscription, the checkout page will show the price, how often you're billed and any free trial. A subscription renews automatically until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time from your account, and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for.
If we make a pricing mistake that is obvious, we can cancel the order and refund you in full.
5. Your right to cancel
If you're a consumer in the UK, you normally have 14 days to cancel a purchase of digital content or services. A paid package gives you digital content straight away. At checkout we ask you to agree that we can unlock it immediately, and to confirm that you understand you then lose the 14-day right to cancel. If you agree, the right to cancel ends as soon as the content is unlocked. This is what the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 allow.
You still keep your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If it isn't, contact us at instanicsdev@gmail.com. Depending on the problem, we'll fix it, replace it or give you a full or partial refund.
6. Building with Lovable and other services
Instanics can hand your brief over to Lovable so you can build your site. Instanics can also link you to domain registrars and other tools. These are separate businesses with their own terms, prices and privacy policies. We are not responsible for them. Any account you create with them, and anything you pay them, is between you and them. That includes Lovable credits or plans, domain registration fees and hosting. Instanics is independent and isn't affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Lovable.
7. Who owns what
- Your idea and your inputs belong to you.
- Your brief. You may use the names, plans, copy, colours, logos and build prompt we generate for you for any lawful purpose, including commercially. That covers the free parts, and the paid parts once you've paid for them. AI tools can generate similar results for other people, so we can't promise that your results are unique.
- Names and logos. We don't check names or logos for trademarks. Before you use a name or logo, it's up to you to check that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.
- Fonts in logos and brand kits are open-source fonts released under the SIL Open Font License. You can use them commercially.
- Instanics itself belongs to us. That includes the software, the design library, the templates and our branding. You can't copy, resell or reverse-engineer it.
You give us permission to store and process your inputs and briefs, but only so that we can run Instanics for you. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
8. Fair use
To keep costs reasonable and the service fast, we limit how many briefs and how much research can be generated each day. You agree not to:
- use Instanics for anything unlawful, fraudulent, hateful or harmful;
- try to get around usage limits, paywalls or security, for example by using lots of accounts or automated scripts;
- scrape Instanics, or resell access to it;
- submit content that you don't have the right to use.
If you break these terms, we may suspend or close your account. If we close it without a good reason, we'll refund any package that you haven't been able to use.
9. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep Instanics running, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, improve or remove features. If we stop offering something you've paid for, we'll give you reasonable notice. If we can't, we'll give you a fair refund.
10. Our liability to you
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
- fraud;
- anything else that can't be limited or excluded by law, including your rights as a consumer.
Apart from that:
- We provide Instanics for you to plan and launch a business. We aren't responsible for business losses, such as lost profits, lost revenue or lost opportunities.
- We aren't responsible for the decisions you make based on a brief. That includes choosing a name, buying a domain or spending money with other services.
- We aren't responsible for losses caused by other services, such as Lovable, Stripe or domain registrars.
- Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If we make a change that affects you significantly, we'll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Purchases you've already made stay under the terms that applied when you made them.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes go to the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. If something goes wrong, please contact us first. Most problems can be sorted out quickly.
